Privacy, Cookies & Advertising

Giggle Zone was built from day one to be safe for kids to use on their own: every game is played with taps and clicks only, there are no accounts, no text input fields anywhere on the site, and no personal information about any visitor is ever collected or sent anywhere. The one narrow exception — the optional spoken voice guidance, which never sends anything personal either — is explained in detail below. This page explains exactly what all of that means in practice.

Privacy Policy

We do not collect personal information. Giggle Zone has no sign-up, no login, no forms, no analytics, and no tracking scripts of our own. There is nothing for a child (or a parent) to type in anywhere on the site.

What is stored, and where: a few small preferences — your star totals for each game and your chosen language — are saved using your browser's own localStorage. That information stays on your device, is never transmitted to us or anyone else, and disappears if you clear your browser's site data.

Spoken voice guidance: games can read a short line aloud (like "You chose to play Memory Match! Find all the matching pairs!") using your browser's built-in text-to-speech. We always prefer a voice already installed on your device, which involves no network transmission at all. Many devices only have a built-in voice for one or two languages, though — Windows in particular needs a separate voice pack per language. When your device has no built-in voice for the language you've selected, the site falls back to whatever other voice your browser offers, which may be a "networked" voice (for example, one of Chrome's default Google voices or a similar service bundled with your browser). In that case, the short on-screen line being spoken — never anything you typed, since there's nowhere to type on this site, and never anything identifying you — is sent to that voice provider so it can be read aloud, under that provider's own privacy policy rather than ours. You can turn this off entirely at any time with the 🔊 mute button in the header, which also stops any speech already in progress.

Children's privacy: Giggle Zone is designed to be suitable for children to play, under the supervision of a parent or guardian where appropriate. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children, because we don't collect personal information from anyone — there is simply no mechanism on this site to submit it.

Changes to this policy: if this policy ever changes (for example, if a future feature required different handling of information), we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date above.

Cookie Policy

Giggle Zone itself does not set any cookies. The only information kept on your device is the localStorage data described above (star progress and language choice), which is not a cookie and is never sent over the network.

If this site displays third-party advertising (see below), the advertising company may set its own cookies or use similar technologies in your browser, under its own privacy policy — not ours. You can review or clear cookies at any time in your browser's settings, and doing so will not affect any core game functionality.

You may see a small, clearly-labeled "Advertisement" box at the very bottom of each page, placed so it never overlaps or interrupts gameplay. If that space is filled by a real ad network (for example Google AdSense), the following applies:
